TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR INTERNSHIP APPLICATION AND PARTICIPATION

Advisee Terms and Conditions 

As a participating Student applying to the RAISEfashion internship program (“the Program”), I agree to abide by the Program’s Terms and Conditions. I agree that if I violate of any of the following Terms and Conditions, RAISEfashion may suspend or terminate my participation as a Student in the Program.  

Rule 1. Confidentiality. I shall not disclose to any third party any details of the application process.

Rule 2. Availability. I shall make reasonable effort to make myself available to speak with my Program representatives as directed for the purpose of interviewing.

Rule 3. Communications. In my communications with Program representatives and potential employers, (1) I shall not use offensive language, and (2) I shall not transmit offensive images. Offensive language includes, but is not limited to, (a) profanity or verbal abuse directed towards the interviewer, (b) sexually suggestive comments directed towards the interviewer, and (c) derogatory remarks directed towards any individual or group of individuals based on religion, race, color, ethnicity, country of origin, age, sex, sexual orientation, or sexual identity.  Offensive images include, but are not limited to, (a) images that are sexually suggestive, lewd, or pornographic and (b) images that include offensive language, as described above. “Communications” refers to communications via any media; for example, in-person, phone, mail, photographs, voice-mail, audio conferencing, video conferencing, audio recordings, video recordings, e-mail, electronic text messaging, computer files supplied on physical media, and computer files transferred electronically. This list is not exhaustive.

I HEREBY CERTIFY:

I have read and I understand the above-described RAISEfashion Terms and Conditions for Students, and I agree to comply with these terms at all times during my participation in the Program.

Release and Waiver

This release and waiver is hereby made by the student in connection with the RAISEfashion Internship Program application process.

I hereby acknowledge and agree that:

(i)             There is no agency relationship between RAISEfashion and Student under any circumstances and neither RAISEfashion nor Student has the authority to create legally binding obligations on behalf of the other party;

(ii)            Student shall be solely and directly responsible for their business conduct, dealings, and decision with respect to the interview process;

(iii)           RAISEfashion shall have no obligations or liability whatsoever in connection with, resulting from, or arising out of Student’s application process without limitation;

(iv)           RAISEfashion may share Student’s information with RAISEfashion’s partner companies – i.e., companies with which RAISEfashion is working in its internship placement program – to facilitate and manage the application and internship process.

(v)            Student shall defend, indemnify, and hold RAISEfashion, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents and representatives harmless from and against any loss, liability, claim, demand, cost or expense (including attorney’s fees) arising out of or in connection with Student’s use of and activities via the application process.

(vi)           I consent to and authorize RAISEfashion to use my likeness in any photograph or video in any and all of its publications, including online and social media. I waive my right to inspect these images before publication. I acknowledge that I am not entitled to any compensation for use of these images.
